Our signature chest, rebuilt entirely around you. The Commission Chest begins with a conversation: the leather that wraps the trunk, its size, the locks that secure it, and every piece arranged inside are chosen with you, one to one. Let our studio design it for you, or bring your own drawings and we will make them real.
Choose from five leathers: genuine lambskin, genuine full-grain cowhide, smooth cowhide, croc-embossed cowhide or genuine ostrich, then select your colour. Each leather can be used for the trunk alone, for the pieces inside, or carried through the whole collection.
This page reserves your commission with a £500 design deposit only. A finished Commission Chest is priced between £1,600 and £5,800. Our standard chest and 17 pieces, made in the leather and colour of your choice, is £1,600. Fully bespoke commissions, with a custom size, different pieces or your own design, are quoted up to £5,800. Your final quote is confirmed once your design is approved, and the deposit is deducted in full.

Imperial Grain is cowhide pressed with a crocodile grain; it is not crocodile skin. Cane, chains, clips, feather and other non-leather pieces keep their own materials; their hardware and handles can still be tailored.

How Your Commission Works
1. Reserve your commission with a £500 design deposit on this page.
2. After ordering, email us at support@msoulstudio.com to agree every detail. We then send your design and final quote for approval.
3. Once approved, we confirm your final price. Your deposit is deducted in full.
4. The balance is due before we order your leathers and begin making.
5. We photograph your finished chest for you, then ship it.
Our Promise
1-Year Craftsmanship GuaranteeIf stitching, seams, hardware or locks fail through a fault in our making within one year, we repair or replace the piece free of charge
Guaranteed DeliveryIf anything goes wrong with your parcel in international transit, lost or damaged, we take full responsibility and put it right at no cost to you
The guarantee covers faults in materials and workmanship. It does not cover normal wear, or any damage caused by the owner or others, whether accidental or deliberate, including misuse.
Care
Wipe leather with a soft dry cloth after each use.
Condition leather regularly; use a specialist conditioner for ostrich.
Keep away from moisture, direct sunlight and heat.
Store your combination lock codes somewhere safe.
Every Commission Chest is handmade to order in our workshop. Once your design is approved and your leathers arrive, our workshop begins making your chest by hand and ships it when complete. Free worldwide shipping, import duties covered, and discreet unmarked packaging.
